dropView

Drops an existing view.

Note: Liquibase supports views, but does not support materialized views.

Run dropView

To run this Change Type, follow these steps:

  1. Add the Change Type to your changeset, as shown in the examples on this page.
  2. Specify any required attributes. Use the table on this page to see which ones your database requires.
  3. Deploy your changeset by running the update command:
    4. liquibase update

ifExists Appends IF EXISTS to the DROP VIEW statement. If ifExists=true, the view is only dropped if it already exists, but the migration continues even if the view does not exist. If ifExists=false and the view does not exist, the database returns an error. Default: false.   all except oracle, firebird 4.19.0
