Install Liquibase on Windows
Before you begin
Confirm that Java is installed. If you use the Liquibase Installer, Java is included automatically.

Navigate to your preferred Liquibase installer:

For Liquibase Pro users, you have the option to use our new Pro-only installer. This version requires a paid Liquibase license key.

For Liquibase OSS users, or Pro users who are not ready to move to our Pro-only distribution, use our Liquibase OSS installer.

Select download.
If the Liquibase Installer does not start automatically after downloading, locate the Installer file in your
Downloads
directory and run it.
If Windows security prevents the Liquibase Installer from running, click Run Anyway. Depending on your version of Windows, you might need to click More info first.

If the Liquibase Installer does not start automatically after downloading, locate the Installer file in your

directory and run it. - Extract the contents to a local directory.
- (Optional) Add the Liquibase installation directory to your system
PATH
. - From a command line or terminal, type
liquibase --version
to verify that Liquibase has been installed successfully.
