Edit a registered database connection

Update a database connection's name, environment, database type, and connection configuration.

Before you begin

  • These steps happen in the Liquibase Server web application.

  • A running server, its URL from your administrator, and a user account. See Manage your account.

  • If the server is not set up yet, run Liquibase Server locally on your own machine or use an internally deployed server. Both guides are under Set up and configure Liquibase Secure server.

Procedure

Open the Database Connections dashboard

In the left navigation, select Database Connections. This opens the Database Connections dashboard, which lists all connections in your workspace.

Open the connection

Select the connection you want to edit to open its detail page.

Open the edit form

Select the Edit button. This opens the Edit Connection page.

Make your changes

Save your changes

Select Save Changes.
