Remove license files from Liquibase Secure server

Take out license files the installation no longer needs, one at a time or several at once.

Before you begin

  • You need to be a member of the Administrators group. Members of a group with the Security Reviewer template can see the stored files but cannot remove them. See Liquibase Secure Role-Based Access Control.

  • Removing a file cannot be undone from this screen. To keep a copy, select the file and choose Download before you remove it.

  • Removing the governing base changes what the installation may run. Read the confirmation text before you accept it.

Procedure

Open the License Files tab

Go to Administer, select License Management, and open the License Files tab.

Remove a single file

Select the file in the list, then select Remove file in the details panel beside it.

The confirmation names the file and states what removing it would cost, so a file the effective license never used says so plainly rather than being presented as dangerous. Select Remove file to confirm.

Remove several files at once

Tick the files in the list, then select the remove button above it. The button names the count, so three files read Remove 3 files.

Confirm the bulk removal. Any file that could not be removed stays selected so you can try again.
